    Thanks for the reply again molerat. Yep got the codes and the sequence but when I press 5 the display goes to "wait 30:00" then starts counting down to zero. It then goes back to "CODE - - - -" before it'll allow me to input another code or retry the pevious one.
    That means that the incorrect code is being entered, very strange as the code is correct for the given serial number, you already have that code written down and you are unaware of the unit being re-coded. All I can suggest is that you look closely at the side of the unit, the serial should be etched into the case. If that matches the label it would seem you are stuffed without pro help.

    Well thanks for the help anyway molerat, really appreciate the time you've taken. I've checked the details again and it's all ok. Been having a few electrical problems with the car so maybe it's all related to that. Not sure how though but still! Thanks again.
