Hi again molerat thanks for the reply. Yep can confirm that the serial number is M126604 and it was on a sticker. I know the code is correct as I said before because I'd written it down in the original book for the radio. Could there be a different code? Can't understand why it won't work!! I'd appreciate any further suggestions. Thanks for your time.0

Thanks for the reply again molerat. Yep got the codes and the sequence but when I press 5 the display goes to "wait 30:00" then starts counting down to zero. It then goes back to "CODE - - - -" before it'll allow me to input another code or retry the pevious one.0 -
