hi there, swapped the battery on my car and now lost my radio code!
the serial number is m001331, any help much appreciated

Did you buy the car used? The head unit may have been replaced at some point, and the code you have may be for another unit, perhaps?

You'll need to give us the serial number so we can check the code for you, which will probably mean the removal of the unit, as the serial will be printed on a sticker on the side of the unit.

Try this first though - hold 6 and 2 (or 6 and 1). Depending on the unit fitted, this might show the serial number on the display.

Failing that, you'll need some removal keys to get the unit out of the dash. They're pretty cheap on ebay.

EDIT - Don't keep trying the incorrect code - too many attempts and you'll be locked out.
