i have double checked all my numbers and one of them was incorrect as you said.
the part number is 7 648 146 392.
serial num- BP8146Y5961130.

the code you have already provided i have not yet tried as i am waiting to see if you get a different code (also dont want to wait for it to reset).

been stung already by a site looking like it was going to provide a code and then provided unhelpful advice. dealer was going to charge me £20. can anyone help?

long delay caused by trying to get at the info!!
Here goes:
Radio is a Philips (made in France), model (?) 22DC349/60B.
part No. XQD101020; DigitalCombi 3BAND; FD 10 00 051172453; PROD NO: FD 1000051172453.
Then imprinted on the casing is the number: RG349(could be a B rather than a 9) FY1172453.
Other numbers I can see are:
9022 213 49601;M/ch 172580; SMQ 248; 3111 115 3175.1; 1172453; E9948; and on the cassette flap it says Rover R660.
Hope that all makes sense!
