Really grateful for the help, but my radio only has buttons numbered 1 to 6. Is there some other way to enter numbers? I played around trying to figure it out earlier but with no luck, and have used up 4 attempts already.

A minute or two to take the time to read through some previous posts would have answered your question

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
CODE with " - - - - " flashing
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press " SELECT " to Enter If you do not have a SELECT then normally button 5 is pressed.

Brilliant, thanks very much. I did look through back through the posts, but with over 550 pages it was hard to track the info down. But thanks to you and molerat, is great that you are both willing to be so helpful.

when i reinstalled my stereo cd/mp3 player it now only displays the time for a few seconds when i turn it on, then it goes back off,i can insert cd and remove the cd and the time changes just have no available spot to put in my code ...what should i do
