A few minutes reading through back posts may have helped.
Try pressing 2+6 or 2+6 this sometimes gives the serial
If not then you will have to remove the stereo

Yellow sticker says:

Also a white sticker saying:

The numbers I can enter have to be from 1-6
The last number I tried was 4335, was another wild goose chase.

Unfortunately the majority of SIEMENS/VDO (DELCO) codes (including your CDR500) will NOT be available for free (or cheap) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database…which is not commercially available..

Try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop (who are normally the cheapest option) who will connect it to a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)
