Car Radio Unlocking

Hi, had to change the battery in my 98 Fiesta and wasn't given the keycode for the radio. It's a 3000 type Ford radio serial No - M000279.
Hoping some kind person can help. Happy to provide more details for verification if required.

Hi, I've tried this ... but the stero doesn't respond - neither the AS nor the Power button. It's a new CDR500 as well!

The serial wil be M****** and found on a sticker on the top or side of the unit. It is also etched into the side of the case.
