i'll highly appreciate it if u could help decode my volvo radio, it's driving me & my misus nuts. bought the car second hand & the seller never gave me the code. The serial number is V00690 W4089109 D

Volvo only affix their badge onto radios made by the well known makers so what is required is the make+model of the radio plus all the other letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

it's a volvo v40 1998/99 model. Other numbers are volvo 3533775-1.Wonder if this info is good.

Sorry...this radio is made by MITSUBISHI and the code will only be available from your Volvo Main Dealer or by using a Radio Decoding Service

Try code 3490

but this may not work as I believe that 7 642 855 520 is a VIN coded model where it is coded to your car ECU...and this can only be done by the Main Dealer or a Decoding Service....but not for free.

Let`s hope I`m wrong !
