    8211 is the code for that serial.
    As your original code is not working, have you taken the serial from the actual radio or from paperwork?? If from paperwork, and my code is the same then I would think radio may have been RE-coded in past.

    Anyway good luck, come back if it does not work

    This might sound/is a stupid question! where do i find the serial number on my car? Ive got an 02 reg corsa! Vauxhall want to charge me £25!!!

    Not sure if there is a difference between 02 and 03's
    This is from 03 Serial on radio, post all numbers on unit and any barcodes

    Sorry, that is the model number!
    I'm certain that you have to remove the unit to ser to the serial number.
    Most CDR 2005 (there are several variants) appear to be similar to the one in my last post.
    To remove it, there are 4 holes (1 in each corner) using a couple of slim screwdrivers or wire coathangers, with a bit of fiddling, it is possible, to release the unit, do 1 side at a time, you will hear it click, ease it back a little then do same on other side. then slide out till you can see the numbers.
