    Hi,
Sorry I know this is a really blonde question but hence why i'm asking on here and not at a garage (they like to charge a fourtune for blonde questions in my experience.)

I have just bought a vauxhall astra 55plate and the radio display reads 'display safe' the radio stations come on but it will not read cd's do I need to re-set it with the code?

Also it says on the original document radio code xxxx to get all the long numbers people have been giving to find their code do i have to take the radio out of my car?!

Thanks for anyone who can help me!

    Tiger x

The code for this unit will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Radio decoding Service

It is showing SAFE because wrong codes have been entered, To reset , leave SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself .

Can anyone help with Peugeot 106 radio code

    s/n cl 040120753553
    model PU2294A(C)

    Thanks:)

Should have worded my request differently - I actually have the code for the radio as I have used it before. Only this time it will not work. Is there anything I can do??
  • Hi,

Thanks for the response. The answer to your question is no, I have not had from new but I am the second owner. The audio serial number I have on paper is RG745WX1020370. Would this be any use at all? I will also the details from the unit as requested.

    Cheers

Hi Timmo, I was wondering if you could help me out? I had to change my battery and hence now require entering in a 4 digit code in order to get my radio going again. My Ford dealership in Australia wants $10 for it. Would much appreciate if you could help me out and save me a few $$$. Details are as follow:
    SN: 7581728"G"
    VIN: 6FPAAAJLCMVB19445
Model of stereo: Its just one of those standard Ford ones (tape player and radio from a 1998 XH panelvan).
Is that all the info that you need?

    Much appreciated,
    Dave
