This happened to my brother who rang up the manufacturers, rather than the dealers, they gave him the code for free no problemo!

I have just replaced my faulty PU 2184A with another (same model) from ebay. The new one played right away but there is a constant beeping noise from behind the dash. Does anyone know how to stop this? Could it be that the stereo has to be coded to the vehicle chassis number? Have tried several peugeot dealers but all seem to have different answers! Want to avoid high dealer prices (quotes vary from £19 up to £40 and that depends on whether they can actually fix it or not!). Does anyone know where I could get the job done cheaper (or even free!) Thanks

Hello...I hope that someone can help....for my sins i bought a new Rover 45 a few months before they went bust!!!!!Now have no main dealer back up....they replaced the radio when it kept going wrong...but I don't have a code. It is Type IX-CO3 / Serial no:35015811/ Part no:XQE000570PMA

Other things on the label are ...Digital com E11 IOR-022041....3 band...CI Code 1B

If anyone can get me the right code then I will make a donation to MSE Christmas charity.

Is there anyone out there that can give me the radio code for a standard cd player for my Peugout 106 Xreg 2002. It's still the standard stereo that came with the car from manufacturers.
