I have all the oiginal ford documents with my car including the leaflet about the radio, and the page for the code.

trouble is ,it was never filled in, surely they will give it to me for free as the dealer has forgotten to complete it when sold.

    I'm the second owner.

    i have an sony cdx-m8000
    serial no 3563542
please guys if you're still in help me don't let me down..

no code calc for sony, you need to either read the eprom inside
    (EEPROM is 24C02, Code in 30h-033h : 02 04 04 06 code is: 2446)

or possible disable the code with soldering a few points -

look at the bottom of the set, there should be a rectangular hole thro which you should see 3 sets of solder pads (they are actually 6 half pads) solder each set of 2 together to disable the code function.
i take no responsabilty for anything you do with this info!

For anyone who has probs entering the code look at the site below as it has instructions for inputing the codes.

try 4273 but only try it once because if it's wrong and you keep entring the wrong code the radio will lock up.
  • Fantastic, worked first time. Cheers mate saved me £25 at my Ford Dealership!
