Im just trying that now, can I use that code more than once, as Ive yet to replace the battery, so if it happens again before hand could I use that code again?
Sorry for all the questions.
Regards.

ScottishSapper you are a star! Ive just gone back out saw the dash's so tried the code you gave me and it worked first time. My girlfriend is over the moon, as she now has a working radio to listen to on the way to work.
Thanks again.

Hey,
I recently replaced the battery on my 1999 Ford Fairmont Ghia. The stereo now needs a 4 digit security code which I don't have. The s/n is: 12101425
If you guys can help me, that would be awesome.
Thanks heaps,

Sorry...I don`t recognise the format of your Serial Number.(eight digits)
Ford Serial Numbers usually begin with a letter followed by 6 digits
( M + + + + + or V or L or C )....to produce a four digit code.
This Serial Number is found on a label on the radio casing.
The American FIC Ford Serial Numbers normally begin with three letters plus 6 digits
Can you quote ALL the letters+numbers on your radio so that I can identify it.
(Make sure you quote everything including where it was made)0 -

It says the Serial Number is the one I stated: 12101425
Other numbers: WR2A-18B865-CATXD
Model Number: FCT028A1-A ( I can't find anything at all when I google this however)
Those are the only other numbers I can see.
Thanks,
