  • Hi,
I scanned back through MANY pages but could notl locate my model, so had to resort to asking for the code.
I own a 2000 ford ranger with a fatory am/fm/cass in it. only numbers i could find are
    a84 (wriote with a pen), Cu141331 and F8VF-19B132-AA.

thats the radio thats in it
I would like to install a am/fm/cd unit 6006 spring mnt.
    with numbers :part# 1S4F-18C815-AD
    Ser # M009344

does someone sell a connector that I can buy to plugin the 6006 into the harness?
and do i need codes for the both units?

    any info is appreciated.
    thank you much

    Bob

You need to give us the M serial number PRINTED ON THE STICKER ON THE RADIO and not from any card, book or piece of paper you have.

Please confirm the M serial number. Yesterday you gave M00205B which I assumed to be an 8.

I had the car before i went to uni, and replaced original audio unit with a cd, this got stolen from my car so i slipped the unit back into the original place and it worked fine. Any reason why the audio unit might be reprogrammed. I went to the local ford garage yesterday but they said it would cost twenty quid to sort out the codes, but i have a feeling this will just give me the 2444 code that i already have.

    Any suggestions, anyone?
Please confirm that the M serial number you gave was PRINTED ON THE STICKER ON THE RADIO and not from any card, book or piece of paper you have.
