Make sure you are entering it correctly.

If so, then it looks as though you radio will have been recoded to a completely different number to the one that it left the factory with.

The only option left is to take it to a Decode Service or local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will connect a laptop and read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Thanks for trying though...i'm using the same method as mentioned here, using preset 1-4 to show the correct code, then entering it with the AS button by holding it down, but it just goes back to displaying SAFE and the entries dropping by 1 each time.

Appreciate the response so quickly though.

At the beginning are you pressing the AS button as well as the ON button before entering the code?

It can take up to 24 hours (as the waiting time doubles after each wrong code ) but normally it is only an hour or two.

Please can anyone help to find me a code for a 3000 traffic car stereo, serial no M089081. Have been given the radio by my brother-in-law as he lost the code and had the radio disconnected so cannot use. I am trying to upgrade mine but need the code.
