At the beginning are you pressing the AS button as well as the ON button before entering the code?

Can you expand on that, i am sure i did not see that in the manual i have?

Sorry to sound stupid wanting a simple 'walkthrough'

Does that make a difference what is displayed when i start?

Sorry..if you have the Audio Manual with the correct code entry instructions then I have assumed the wrong entry info.
Many of these radios using the AS button usually start and finish using this button....but presumably yours does not.

If you are using your instructions and entering the code 9664 correctly (confirmed from two sources as the correct code ) and the radio does not accept it ( and logs it as an error) then it looks as though your radio has been recoded to a new number.
(or you have quoted the wrong Serial Number GM0303R2530800 )

no problem, ill get my sister to register and request the code. I wasnt aware of the rule, the ford code didnt even work and again wasnt for me but for my dads pc phobic friend :(

Save her time ...The majority of SIEMENS/VDO codes are not available for free from anywhere on the Internet.

  • can anybody help me with my ford transit code please; serial number is M410832
  • Hiya money savers,

My radio locked when the battery died all the way back in FEB! I'm finally getting round to it now, got the radio out, noted the serial numbers CL052930093599 model PN2424M

Nissan Dealer quotes 40 quid, internet is 25 quid to give me the unlock code.

I downloaded software to unlock Car radios for 2.99 but the radio is not accepting the codes the software generated.

Any other ideas before I cave in and spend the money??

    Thanks ever so much!

    Sam
