  • Hi, I hope somebody can help. I have just had to disconnect the battery on my Mondeo and I now need the radio code. The serial number is M179530.

    Thanks in advance

The radio has to be fully identified in order to see if the code is available for that particular model....so removing it from the dashboard is normally required so that the information on the casing can be noted.

Where did your Serial Number come from ?

If it`s from the car`s paperwork then it s not always accurate .

Have a ford fusion I bought second hand-handbook said my code was one thing-which it isn't !
they must have had a load of handbooks that they just grabbed anyone when they sold a car !
After taking the side by the steering wheel out, I managed to Photograph :T:T the serial number without haveing to take anything else off

    the serial number is

    M054217

please can you help? I am on my 4th attempt of putting the code in & getting worried it will lock

    Hi all,

I can't get my serial number.

I have tried to remove my radio but it seems to be stuck and wont come out. Is there any other possible way of finding out serial number or removing radio successfully.

    Thanks
If you have screws instead of those clips in your ford radio, try what I did-get a philips screwdriver & take the panel under the steering wheel out-there are 2 screws inthe little cubby hole, and 2 on the Main panel
Borrow a flash digital camera & take a picture (with flash obviously):rotfl: up behind the radio-my sticker was on the RH side as you look at the front of the radio
    Result :T
