Thank you for the answer,
I cant take the radio apart as I dont have the tools,
so after searching the internet I found out that if I press 6 and 1 (some say digit 2) digits for a while and it gives the serial number,
and it worked, it gave several different parameters but only one was 6 digits,
Im at the 7th try so if I figure correctly I still have 3 more to go
its very difficult to find how to find the serial without taking the radio apart.
I will let you know if it worked.0 -

It is fairly simple to remove the unit to get the serial number.
Have a look at this guide, it covers most types:

Hi,
My Father-in-Law has disconnected his battery on his Vauxhall Vectra and now the radio needs to have a code entered.
The radio has a number GM0300W6731952. Is there a code for this one. If so, how do you enter the code number?
Thanks0 -

Hi ScottishSappa,
The make is Blaupunkt I'm sure Not Philips and there is also a code number 7648852320 on the unit. Does this help?
How do you enter the code number 5207?
Thanks,

The serial number display (hold 6 and press 2) only usually works on the Fiesta with the "3 piece" front. If it did not show M050102 then that is not the serial. What model / year is the car ?Thank you for the answer,
