How do you enter the code number 5207?

    Thanks,

    Phil.
    Switch the ignition key ON

Press and hold AS button * and the ON button at the same time

Display Shows SAFE then goes to 10 - - - - with a "Beep" from the speaker

Press Preset Button " 1 "repeatedly until the 1st Digit of your Code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 2" repeatedly until the 2nd Digit of your Code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 3" repeatedly until the 3rd Digit of your code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 4" repeatedly until the 4th Digit of your code is displayed

If the display now shows the correct Code number then

Press Button AS and hold to Enter and if successful there should be a "Beep" from the speaker and the radio should switch on

If you are certain that this is a Z and not a 2 then unfortunately this Serial Number TCCAA1302Z0500 is not in my CHRYSLER database.

    Check your PMs

I will send details of an alternative free source who MAY be able to help
  • Yeh thats the code. thanks anyway
  • Thanks very much Redworts I'll give it a try on his radio this weekend and report back.

    Cheers,

    Phil.
  • Crikey, what luck finding this post - today had to take my cd player to bits - son shoved his favourite cd on over the top of one already in there!!!! Anyway, now the radio wont work. To make matters worse, we found the log book with the radio code in but it wont accept it, 2nd hand car - perhaps the previous owner changed it? Any ideas/suggestions? Am I stuck? Its a Ford Ka. Thanks.
just remove the radio from its mounting and come back with the serial number usually M?????? quote that on the forum and someone will have the code as its a ford
  • Hi,
    well,
    thank you for the replay,
    the code was incorrect,
the car model is ford focus 2007.
I cant put a pic of it as it dont give me to do links but the radio model is CD 6000 ( the one with the phone button)

it didnt showed M (but it was reasnoble to assume its M after alot of searches on the internet), it actually showed a bunch of lines
including dates and different numbers and SWP1,SWP2,SWP3 and SWP4.

this was the only 6 digits number.

Its really unclear why Ford make it, its pretty much useless security measure as the sticker is on the back of the radio. so if someone stole the radio he could easily know the serial.

I guess I will have to wait for next week, I know the ford dealership can give me the code I was just hoping for a shortcut.

What I was trying to do is to save myself 4 hours drive without radio,
but I guess you are not always get what you want.

    and once again,
Thank you all for the help, I appreciate it!:A
