Here is a video showing how to remove your radio from the dashboard. A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay , Halfords ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts.

An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips

Hi there,

I had to replace the battery on our six year old Renault Scenic. Its an import model and the good news it had a little strip of computer print out giving some 4 digit radio codes. Bad news, they're not the codes for the radio in our car. One result - ERROR !

Any help obtaining the correct code would be appreciated

Hi there I have gave up and binned my car 200.I have contacted the local breakers and they have a car 400 stereo which will fit straight in.I have serial no' which is GM040013092202. Is this a radio that can be decoded.Cheers in advance Davy
