yes it's the actual serial number on the radio casing label.

Are you quoting the correct Serial Number?

The correct one will be on a label on the radio casing and not necessarily the one printed in the car`s paperwork/Audio Guide

Thanks, that is the same code that was provided on a radio that I purchased from ebay. I thought the code the seller provided me with was incorrect because when I enter this code and complete using button 5 on the radio. It just displays CODE4045 and the radio is still locked.

    Any ideas please?
Has the unit got a "SELECT" button. If it has then press that instead of 5.

There should be a 14 character Serial Number beginning with RG or RN or PH or similar (often found stamped in the metal casing ) and maybe a Security Number in the format of TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode so please quote EVERYTHING you can find

Thanks. Had another look and there is a 14 digit no. stamped in the metal case:
    PHAPEFV9004095

There is also a sticker with a massive barcode on it which has the numbers 9004095 on it - these are the same as at the end of the Prod. No. above (presumably Product No. - so FD 0197259004095)

Keeping fingers crossed that someone can help.
  • Need a code for my Peugeot 306

    CL0401Y0144511
    PU-2294A

    C70000004315

Hope it all makes sense........because it does'nt to me:confused:
Heard so many contridicting comments re wether or not its possible or not to crack these over the net....for free anyway. Already had it done to the cost of £20 last year but lost the bloody card with the No on:mad:

    Thanks all,Danny

    Try code 5543

You are one of the lucky CLARION owners as most do not have the relevant Serial Number
