Anyone Used tapsuk.com?

has anyone used tapsuk.com? I bought a franke sink from them on Friday 20th August and was just wondering if they are a good company and will despatch and deliver quickly?

    i guess it is but I just wanted to know before any trouble if they are a reputable company.
  • Sorry for such a negative first post but this Company are absolutly awful.

    They don't keep to the specified delivery times and when you ring them and (eventually) get through the staff bare face lie to you.

    I've been waiting days for my delivery to arrive even after recieving an email to state the items have been dispatched via UPS, (on checking the UPS website they haven't even been collected by UPS yet).

    When you request to speak to a manager, Customer Services staff (used in the loosest possible terms) try to fob you off and inform you that you will need to send in an email.

    This company is a discrace, they'll take your cash and feed you lies.

    Over the last 9 years I've used numerous Online retailers and can state without exception that they are the worst company I've ever experienced dealing with.

  • tapsuk.com are absolutely disgraceful. My wife ordered a part for a tap, a shower-head and some sealant that specifically matches the new worktop. A week later, my wife wants to know where it is. Person on the phone number insts he knows nothing, and can only place orders, not look at existing ones. Only option is, phone the premium rate...£1.53 per minute customer service line or email/use online service form. Days later, certainly not quickly, the response is that the shower-head is out of stock. My wife replies and says to just send the sealant, as we need it urgently for our carpenter to fit the worktop. The following reply from tapsuk c.service said "ok, we will send both items together.".....!!!!!!!!! So now its Friday, 2.5 weeks on from placing the order, and the carpenter is coming Monday morning....we're screwed, and tapsuk customer services stopped responding to my wife, and are not paying any attention. Their premium rate number won't dial through right now, for some dumb reason, and I have been forced to email to them cancelling my order.....I very much doubt they will ever refund the money.

    I first tried calling the sales line, to the same dumb response my wife got. So I said i want to speak to the salesman's supervisor. He says, conveniently, "I am the sales manager, the most senior guy"....bulls**t!!! I said, "I didn't ask what your title was, I asked to speak with whoever YOUR boss is." He then claims that his boss is not situated in that building/location, and claims he has no direct/vocal contact with his own employers or supervisor....how very convenient. Says that the best he can do is send the support team an email, to ask them to email me back...not phone.....!!!!!!!!!! what part of "URGENT" do these people not understand. Disgusting scam if you ask me. I wouldn't be surprised if most orders fail to show up. I suspect they just take orders and money from people, never deliver the goods, until you finally give in to spend a s**t load of money...perhaps more than the product you bought is worth, calling their premium rate line. DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

    I have to say my experience of this Company differs from previous negative comments. I accept their deliveries can be a little delayed or irregular however their prices are good. I have now purchased from them three shower mixers/heads, three whb taps and one sink tap (I renovate properties) - one of the shower units was for my own house and the ceramic unit failed (not a tapsuk problem) - the replacement cartridge was cheap and posted the same day as I ordered.

    My order arrived very rapidly, but after it had been dispatched, I was notified that the accessories would not arrive with the sink as they had been damaged. I agreed to wait for them as I already had the sink. The accessories include the plumbing fittings so it is impossible to install the sink without them.
    This was on 19th February.
    Since then I have exchanged numerous emails with their 'help desk' and have been told many stories. Another set dispatched and lost by Yodel! So many times I have been told exactly when they would come, or that my complaint was being handed to a higher authority. I have asked them to phone me ( I will not pay £1.60 a minute to use their special phone line when none of this is my fault. ) they just ignore this request.
    This morning I have had yet another email saying I will be told within 24 hours when they will be dispatched.. This is at least the 3rd identical e mail, so I am not holding out much hope!
    If you are fortunate to get your complete delivery, rapidly, they are probably great, but if anything goes wrong you will be driven to complete despair by their lies and incompetency. I do not know what action to take now. If I return the sink I will no doubt have to pay postage, but will I ever get my £300 returned?

    I ordered a sink recently and arrived quickly with no problems.

    I was a little concerned having read the negative comments but it is their business model I suppose and its how they justify the lower prices. Certainly couldnt find what I ordered cheaper anywhere.

    Bought a granite sink and was delivered ok, plumber was preparing it and drilled the rest of the already half drilled tap hole, moved sink and it cracked clean in half.
    Obvious weak point and manufacturing fault, I saw him doing it and not heavy handed at all.
    The only way to deal with the company is a closed message system or premium rate phone number, either way they insist on using the message system so absolutely no reason to phone them anyway!
    After a few messages back on forth with them trying to weed out how the plumber prepared hole and insinuating it was his fault, they are now saying they have passed all collected info to their supplier and awaiting their response.
    No update in over a day now, they won't answer me.

    With a closed website that has a forum which are really just messages people can read and not respond to, and their ebay page has similar bad feedback when the item is faulty, be cautious buying anything from them. Cheap and nasty!!
