That's because instead of you quoting the post using thetag, you did it in bold so it doesn't appear as being a quote but instead as you "shouting". You may want to leave it as a quote in future to save confusion.0 -
Ah, I see the confusion.0

When I moved into my new build house I put an aerial in the attic as it was easier than putting it on the roof. It gave a crappy analogue signal but as I already had analogue Sky that I brought with me if I wanted to tape a channel at the same time as watch another channel I just put up with the grainy picture and always taped from Sky.
Now I have Sky + and never used the analogue signal from the aerial in the attic on the TV , however my region finished switching to digital last Wed.
I have just bought myself a new digital TV and I connected my crappy aerial in the attic to my new TV, not really expecting much and what did I get? Perfect picture on every channel.
I also had a second aerial on the roof for my USB digital tuner in my computer but that was never all that good on a couple off the muxes but when they switched off the analgue signal and increased the digital signal that again has improved and I get perfect pictures on my computer as well.
So the analogue signal might be rubbish just now but there will be a vast improvement when your region goes digital.0
