            Gemmzie, here's Scarlet Mist http://www.scarletmist.com/default.asp
Bookie, my dad's house is all beige, carpets, walls, furniture, everything. He thinks it all matches, I'm terrified all the time I'm there in case I spill something or have something on the bottom of my shoe. I want to redecorate my flat but can't till it's been refurbished. Well, I can, but it'll need redoing then so there's no point. I know what colour scheme I want and everything.
My brother's house is cream primarily and so is mine. I have patterned curtains though and highlight colours from the curtains in my cushions. It's all about accent colours. Just drink weak tea or white wine when you're round your dad's house

            Afternoon!
Love the Finnish Elfen :-) Have a great time.
Still got my horrible cold and it's a wee bit miserable out side today. But having checked my bank balance first thing I'm still smiling!!
Here's to a whizzy monday for those at work, my morning has just zipped past! Hope the afternoon does the same.Sealed Pot Challenge member 991

Dad's has no highlight colours at all! He also never has anything in for us to eat or drink when we're there, so it's not too bad a problem. Unless we're there for a week...
Bunny, hope Spud gets there soon! I was with someone trying to guide someone in on the phone, he asked if the guy could describe where he was 'I'm on a road with some trees and parked cars'. Hmm, very helpful.
I'm on such a roll I'm thinking about going into town, I want to buy a couple more airers so that when I'm having a good day I can get loads of washing done instead of having to wait for loads to dry. And I still have one drink left on my Starbucks card. But it's raining. Hmm.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Maybe you need to buy him something more colourful for Xmas Ames - putting colour in can take a leap of faith if you're not used to it.

Luc, no chance, he'd just palm it back off on one of us. He's tried colour - his old carpet was a rust colour - but thinks it looks better the way it is. He's even getting rid of his old black glass furniture and replacing it with oak. I kind of feel sorry for sister cos she's getting the old stuff, whether she wants it or not! He did the same with me when I moved out, I've had the original stuff, and the stuff he replaced that with, now sister's getting the third lot he's tried. And people say women spend a lot and can't be happy with what they've got!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0

Well I've ironed. Apart from the fact that it's a nasty job off the list it has done nothing to lighten my mood.
 It's flipping raining again.0
