Happy Holiday Elfen (oops I forgot too).

Gemmzie, have you tried Scarlet Mist? It's a free service to sell tickets at face value, I've sold a few on there in the past. You might get more for them that way.

Whatatwit, instead of you speaking to your lawyer, could you get your daughter to call community Legal services, she'd be eligible for legal aid so she'll get free advice.

  • Sounds a disaster Buffy.
My house needs livening up - it is all very 'beige'. A bit like me!

    Gemmzie, here's Scarlet Mist http://www.scarletmist.com/default.asp

Bookie, my dad's house is all beige, carpets, walls, furniture, everything. He thinks it all matches, I'm terrified all the time I'm there in case I spill something or have something on the bottom of my shoe. I want to redecorate my flat but can't till it's been refurbished. Well, I can, but it'll need redoing then so there's no point. I know what colour scheme I want and everything.

Nothing wrong with Beige...most of my walls are beige..just need to add colour in other areas..

  • Bookie, there's nothing wrong with beige.

My walls and carpet are beige but I've got colourful accessories to bring life to the room. Though most people raise an eyebrow when I say the colour scheme in my bedroom is black, but the monochrome look is in!

I'm in a calorie deficit so won't be adding much muscle, just maintaining what I've got. Would have expected to see a couple of lbs off this week, in water weight if nothing else, cos I cut salt and increased water intake. If there has been a reduction in measurements I wouldn't be too worried (which is what happend last week despite the salt fiasco) but nothing has budged except the scale upwards [insert VERY CONFUSED smiley]

Don't you sometimes have weeks when nothing moves and then the following week you miraculously lose 4lbs or something. I thought sometimes there's no logic to it at all.

I've just run for 24 minutes from the garage (obviously not mine!) to home. Now going to have another bath and then grout. Need to get this and the silicon sealant done so I can actually have a shower!

  • I've just seen a lovely plum duvet cover on the Dunelm website. I need to move away from the internet this morning - making me want things! :o

    Gonna do the ironing.

After last week's 1lb up this was supposed to be the miracle week:rotfl:Never mind. I'm doing exercise and eating better. My body should catch on eventually;)

Sorry to hear that Gemmzie, it's happened to me a couple of times too. Yet the government have ruled that there's nothing wrong with touting and wont make it illegal, even though it is for sports events.

I must have got out of the right side of the bed today! I've finally taken a bag of empties to the tip, which I've been meaning to do for aaaages. Then I went to get the curtains I'd seen for the bedroom, but they didn't have the right size. I had a mooch for a housewarming present for sister, I saw a couple of things but I'm going to think about it and then go back if they still seem right.

Bookie, Dunelm's a killer, I love the place! I've got some bedding from there, it's gorgeous (although I use it in the living room not the bed, so I'm not sure how hard wearing it is). They've got some really pretty blanket boxes, but I need to get rid of crap before I can get more!
