thanks no i haven't done the mi12 should i ring ask them to send form and should it be allowed from when the IS form was filled in ? i'm ever so gratefull not off the merry go round yet one step at time i'm quite angry because everywhere i've been council job centre plus pathways CAB 4 times none mentioned this form to me my husband was in hospital from 1/5/10 to 23/8/10 so has been unable to pay mortgage as we were seperated before going into hosp but he always paid mortgage so when i went to CAB 1st time lady says i was entitled to £1.40 is pw i went back next day as didn't understand the calculations only to be told by another lady i was not entitled to any so never made the claim until i went back to CAB when she tells me my husband is entitled to WTC and possibly IS but got letter saying no and because of new joint claim we've not rcd any CTC since aug and no WTC sorry for going on an on but i am now desperate

Income Support should've sent you out an MI12 form 4 weeks before your mortgage qualifying date (this is normally 13 weeks after you start claiming Income Support).

Give Income Support a call tmorro and ask them to send you an MI12 form asap. Complete parts 1-6 yourself, then send the form to your mortgage lender. They'll fill out the rest of the form and they'll send it straight back to the DWP. Give Income Support a call again in a few weeks time if you haven't heard anything back from them by then.

Hi thanks again for you rhelp i rang IS to ask for form and they said theres already one in post MI12 as they were looking at my claim again really if i'd been given all the info in the beginning from them CAB JOB CENTRE or PATHWAYS i wouldn't be feeling so ill i did say that info is not freely given out and without this site and good natured helpful people like yourself where would we be THANK YOU THANKYOU to all you nice helpful people out there just need to get TC sorted Have tried to ring them but system still down
