I am so cross with myself,OH and the next person in the checkout.
I left behind a bottle of Ariel Excel at Tesco, I have just rung them and it isn't there.
I am cross with myself for leaving it there.
I am cross with my OH who was parked outside and who rang me just as I was checking out to hurry me up.
And I am cross with the lovely person who came after me and has made off with it.

I have not seen someone venting about themselves before......
Top marks for originality.0 -
I guess this could come under the 'warning' category. I am very observant at checkouts to make sure everything is accounted for, yet when I take kids with me the distraction means I have often made mistakes and been overcharged.0

Some Tesco stores have a book that they write in things that are left behind before putting it back on the shelf.
Maybe they might have a book to check on, take your receipt.0 -

Yes I will give it a try even though when I rang them they said they nothing had been left behind. I know how I did it,It was going through the self-serve checkout, it was the last thing in a bag on its own still attached to the prongs.I was just about to pay when OH rang me, paid and then I obviously only picked up the loose bags. The annoying thing is I always use my own bags but had left them in the car, if I had it wouldn't have happened.
Thats life I suppose, a lot worse things happen I know, but it is so annoying nonetheless.0 -

I have done this before at Somerfield and called the store asking if they could check the register and when nothing was found I was told to come in and get another. It's worth a try.0
