Thats a range of between 28 quid and 35 quid. I really hope no one has bought these to sell or stil has time to cancel if they have.

Have you seen the postage charges for them though!? I doubt they cost £27 to post?

I am just guessing that it is going to cost about another 25 dollars to send this over to the states, where as they tend to only pay 15 dollars for internal postage.

It actually makes a bad deal even more so, not only have you got to compete with people from USA who are buying it at almost half the price of us, but then you have to compete with internal postage rates using an international service.

Thanks for pointing this out as I had completely forgot to include P&P into the equation.

Again another example of manufacturers hyping up a product so much that parents feel that have to buy this for their child when only a few weeks, maybe days after Christmas is will be relegated to the top of the already expensive heap of 'must have' toys in the corner of their already over packed, over priced bedroom piles. I remember whent the teletubbies had to be had, people were doing crazy things even fighting in shops in the name of some felt and stuffing, crazy. How can any of us ever teach our children how to save money if people continually fall for this advertising hype and over priced rubbish, who cares if it walks, talks, stands or even recites poetry it is completely useless to the childs developement and therefore is no more than just an expensive trinket. Why not get the kids into things which will last longer and make them expand their brains, when I was growing up I couldn't wait to get my hands on some meccano to build some wonderous machine that would save the plant or something but at least it made my brain tick. I know everyone on MSE has more sence than to fall for this continued rubbish toy makers bring out, children like cuddly toys yes but why do they need to cost more than a tenner, there's nothing more special than watching your child with their own inanimate cheap toy pretending to talk for it, make it walk, have a tea party, but with these toys which have all the bells and whistles the fun is all taken out of it where does imagination come into it for the kids when it's all about the money. Last year my friend paid well in excess of £200 for some ROBO man top thing 'robosapian' new edition or something or other and she played with it more than her son who now just hangs his school coat on it. She could of bought a coat rack in argos and saved herself a packet and maybe her son would of preferred a game they could play together. Sigh well sorry to go on maybe I'm just behind the times and for all those of you who feel they must have this new expensive 'toy' then good luck to you but I wouldn't buy one if they were made of gold!!
    :p

Don't take this the wrong way, but maybe use the Enter/Return button
  • Are these available to buy in store now at the minute?
