These arent being delivered until Monday... though do a "BUY IT NOW" for £45 and see you sell it in 1 hour. Buy it now costs 5p today so £15 profit. lol.

Or get greedy and auction it ;)

Chances of an "out of stock" e-mail quite likely then...
Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:
  • I'm confused, are you going to buy some of these or not? And stop sitting on the fence, just come out and say what you are thinking, you're like that Trevor Brooking.

I do not make a habbit of buying something that is over priced already in the hope that it will continue to rise in price. Put it this way, when beef drops in price I am happy, it seems as though some would rather the price of beef sky rocketed through the roof so they could jump on board.

I am not like that, I will buy another parcel of goodies (most of which were last years must buys) from Amazons clearance. Guaranteed good deal is more my game ;) Not 40 quid for 2 dollars worth of crud.

    I was only joking....;)

PS Loads of US sellers mysteriously ending their $70-$90 BIN listings early and re-listing at a much higher prices. Commerce, eh?
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!
  • Whoops sorry, I will shut up now and will watch this thread with interest though ;)

Good luck all of you who have or are buying, hope you pay for your turkey and then some :D
  • Looks like the guys listing in the last hour have just started undercutting each other on cost and postage.

Not many showing an actual photo of box or Elmo, could be a lot of buyers let down if deliveries don't show.

just for the record I can guarantee that my son will be over the moon with this product and I didn't buy it because I thought that the prices would rise or to sell it on at a profit......and I put this on the forum for all elmo lovers out there knowing it may be highly likely there was gonna be a shortage.

sorry for posting a £40 item which to some is 2 dollars of crud...i'll try not to do it again

Yeah, maybe these will be in short supply, but I think the actual demand for them will be very low here in the UK. Sesame Street is part deep into American pop culture and does not have the same attraction over here.

Sesame Street, isn't popular over here with today's kids. Those who are buying to sell over Christmas are looking at the wrong toy to invest in...
  • I deserved that didn't I :D

Finally got off my backside and bought some ciggies which I assure you are far more of a bad buy than "tickle me elmo". Although I am sure everyone else is pleased I have them now ;)
    Sorry :)

Point made much better. I remember 10 years ago actually, first got on the net and spoke to people in USA (wasn't many Brits on then) and they were going mad over tickle me elmo and couldn't believe I did not know what one was.
  • on a lighter note :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

There is a factory in Northern Minnesota which makes the Tickle Me Elmo toys.

The toy laughs when you tickle it under the arm.
Well, Lena Is hired at The Tickle Me Elmo factory and she reports for her first day promptly at 0800. The next day at 0845 there is a knock at the Personnel Manager's door.

The Foreman throws open the door and begins to rant about the new employee.

He complains that she is incredibly slow and the whole line is backing up, putting the entire production line behind schedule.

The Personnel Manager decides he should see this for himself so the two men march down to the factory floor.

When they get there the line is so backed up that there are Tickle Me Elmos all over the factory floor and they're really beginning to pile up.

At the end of the line stands Lena surrounded by mountains of Tickle Me Elmos.
She has a roll of plush red fabric and a huge bag of small marbles.

The two men watch in amazement as she cuts a little piece of fabric, wraps it around two marbles and begins to carefully sew the little package between Elmo's legs.

The Personnel Manager bursts into laughter. After several minutes of hysterical laughter he pulls himself together and approaches Lena.

"I'm sorry," he says to her, barely able to keep a straight face, but I think you misunderstood the instructions I gave you yesterday........

Your job is to give Elmo two test tickles" :T

    hope you enjoyed..........
