£5,000? I'm joking, btw (I have 2 lads though luckily they are grown up so have stopped looking for their facial expressions!) But it's still an interesting point. IF (massive if) these go the way of the first Elmo Tickle 10 years ago, there were some sold for in excess of $3,000 (so I've read), adjust that figure for sterling and inflation and it's probably now the equivalent of 5 grand. Now surely THAT would be a dilemma? Hmmm....the look on my boy's face on his birthday or 5,000 smackeroos).....

I bought one to sell on nearer Christmas. If I cant sell it for more than face value, I will give it as a Christmas present!!

No dilemma for me............if I wanted an investment I would go and buy another (well if I could).....the one I've got is for my boy.

Price seems to have climbed a bit now. For those buying one to invest in it might be worth adding on to here how much the last one has sold for, I will try to do this from hour to hour from ebay.com when I can if no one else does it. (I am not even buying one, what a nice chap I am).

This way those that want to sell to USA can time their selling, it certainly seems that selling in the middle of the night is not the right move. This may be due to how many are bought while folks are using work PCs in USA.
