(controversial view alert!!) I happen to think they are underpriced at £35 - even more so at the US price, which equates to less than £25! I got most of mine at approx £30 (woolworths discount plus Quidco!) and am not complaining so far....

Edit: Just read this comment (It's supposed to be for reviews but in the case of Elmo seldom is) on Amazon.com:

I bought 150 of these Elmo's. I'm tired of people price gouging on ebay so I bought a load of them to resell at buy it nows on ebay come December 1st. They are already in my posession and I will be listing these at the retail price and the cost to cover my ebay fees. Shipping will only be 8.10 for priority mail. I can't wait to get the emailes from the horrible "Scrooges" looking to make a HUGE profit on a toy that kids are dying to have and can't because all the misers out there bought them all up to make a huge buck. Just wait till 12/1/06 when I slam ebay with Buy it nows on these for less than 44.99!!!(I can only list 10 at a time but that's no biggie, they will sell fast!) I'm a Powerseller with 100% positive feedback and this will be great!

Only problem i can see with this approach is that the OTHER power sellers who are selling TMX Elmo on there will probably just gobble up all his stock and put it back on ebay at a vastly inflated price!(After all, they are probably full time sellers so will have the chance to see his listings before a lot of parents). Whilst his heart is definitely in the right place, I think he's a bit thick, in other words.
but this guy openly admits he is a power seller so surely he is gouging himself with everything he sells after all ebay is about proffit is it not:confused:

No, this seller seems to want to stop dreadful profiteers from shafting their fellow citizens :A

All power to his/her elbow :T
  • Does anyone know the weight for one of these??

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
