They seem to be selling out all over the place now. I am still hopeful. But, I now only have 2 to sell as I openened one while drunk on Friday. I'm actually quite glad I did though...the little guy is just so funny. I have no children to show but all the adults that have seen it (including my Mum and Dad) love it to bits. It will put a smile on anyones face!!!!!

(controversial view alert!!) I happen to think they are underpriced at £35 - even more so at the US price, which equates to less than £25! I got most of mine at approx £30 (woolworths discount plus Quidco!) and am not complaining so far....

Edit: Just read this comment (It's supposed to be for reviews but in the case of Elmo seldom is) on Amazon.com:

I bought 150 of these Elmo's. I'm tired of people price gouging on ebay so I bought a load of them to resell at buy it nows on ebay come December 1st. They are already in my posession and I will be listing these at the retail price and the cost to cover my ebay fees. Shipping will only be 8.10 for priority mail. I can't wait to get the emailes from the horrible "Scrooges" looking to make a HUGE profit on a toy that kids are dying to have and can't because all the misers out there bought them all up to make a huge buck. Just wait till 12/1/06 when I slam ebay with Buy it nows on these for less than 44.99!!!(I can only list 10 at a time but that's no biggie, they will sell fast!) I'm a Powerseller with 100% positive feedback and this will be great!

Only problem i can see with this approach is that the OTHER power sellers who are selling TMX Elmo on there will probably just gobble up all his stock and put it back on ebay at a vastly inflated price!(After all, they are probably full time sellers so will have the chance to see his listings before a lot of parents). Whilst his heart is definitely in the right place, I think he's a bit thick, in other words.

I think maybe they aint as hot as we are all hoping - anyone want to buy 12 elmos
These toys are still publicly available in the UK - so the price will remain low when selling to UK only. Try selling internationally... the Americans will bid crazy for these items --- and it hits them twice-as-hard with the exchange rate being so much in our favour! OOOoooh - gotta love creaming loads of cash off Americans!!! Muppets.

Loads, and loads, and loads at the Woolies in Newcastle (Clayton Street) --- I think they were the Anniversary (original) ones, and plenty still available at Toys 'R' Us at the MetroCentre (Gateshead) too.

The seller of the Elmo quoted actually had another auction end the day after for over £40 - but it didn't meet his reserve. Incidentally, if you check his feedback it would appera he never actually sent the Elmo he got £22 for. Naughty....
