Cost is £14.45 (small packets) to the States or about £18 for signed for . You can pay online at the Royal Mail website and print out prepaid label - brilliant - saves time queuing in the Post Office - unless you need signed for.

Royal Mail will not compensate if you do not have a certificate of posting so always worth getting one even on overseas packages especially as US buyers are often quick to ask for a refund when their item does not arrive.

However a COP only covers items up to £32 so to be fully covered for overseas postage you will need to use an insured method:

You also need to consider paypal chargebacks as well. I'm sure I am only saying what everyone already knows, but it is worth remembering that paypal will automatically refund a buyer whose item does not arrive unless the seller can prove delivery using an online trackable method, see here:

    Ooh you ARE cynical!

Just because the poster was called Ash and gogo-gadgets.co.uk is owned by somebody called Ash you've assumed the worst :rotfl: :rotfl:

Now, Mr Cartwright. You are clearly trading and your registration states
The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their address omitted from the WHOIS service.
    That's naughty ;)
    Can I help?

Well at least I'm consistent ;)

I find the whole buy/sell c*ap very disheartening. I thought that this site would continue to be a community of bargain hunters looking out for each other rather than a bunch of greedy chancers looking out for themselves.

I've taken some flak from the greedies and I'm happy to take it because I think the vast majority of site users are positive contributors rather than self-centered sleezebags.

    Onwards and upwards :D
