Hi,
It's quite difficult to work out the postage sometimes but if you go onto Royal Mail's website you can work it out there using their online price finder.
Royal Mail > Personal Customers > Price Finder > Fill in the details in the drop down boxes and work out how much it will cost to post your item.
Hope this helps.0 -
I would wrap it in bubblewrap several times and than in brown paper with a jiffy bag over the bit that hits the ball, sorry dont play/know much about golf! Cant imagine it will cost much to post but if worth over £41 go for special delivery.0

Hubby used to sell quite a few golf clubs. He used to wrap the club(s) in bubble wrap then ask at the local golf club or sport direct for empty boxes to put them in. It used to cost about £6.0

Plus I would put it in a sturdy box. If it goes via RM and ends up sideways in a cage with 100k of items on top of it no amount of bubble wrap will protect it from bending. Also not brown paper as modern mail handling means things have to be completely un- ripable (is that a word?)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. LOL i use wallpaper 3 times as thick as brown paper and only around 20p roll at booty
My things tend to be light and the weight of paper makes them more expensive to post. I prefer jiffy bags or bubble wrap and plastic mailers for non breakables. For anything that can be damaged i always use a box and peanuts (hence having a house full of them at the moment by accident!)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Pretend ones and as per my thread the other day I had no idea about volumatic weights and rather underestimated how many I would get for the money. I still haven't managed to find anywhere to store this huge 6ft sack of the things.:oI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
