  • What make/model of phone is it? Mostly, instructions on how to do this are handset-specific.

I have a Desire but use Handcent so see if it is the same

Press Handcent App > Menu button > Settings > Notification Settings > Notification Settings (again) > Scroll down to LED settings and tick the LED Blink box.

You can set LED colour and flash speed etc there as well. Good Luck hope its the same on your Wildfire.

It is directly under the 'Blink LED' checkbox on my desire, maybe you dont have that option, are you using Android 2.2 Froyo? maybe it is that as I am on 2.2

Hey Rich, how many phones do you own? Just the last one or two months you have asked the same questions for the htc desire, htc hero, htc wildfire and one more handset. Just curious.

You'd have thought by now he'd have learned how to download the manual from the HTC website and read it!!

I have no objection to people asking advice or seeking serious help, but asking how to make a phone's LED blink is just lazy.

i did not mean to discourage people like rich from asking queries. i was just curious that he has so many phones (desire, hero, wildfire and atleast one other phone cant remember the name, all acquired in the last 2-3months) going by his queries about setting up these phones over the last 2-3months. maybe he is setting up the phones for his family and is actually asking about family members phones.

i wouldnt have learnt about radio times etc if not for his queries. so even if the queries seem repetitive they still can be useful for users that havent seen the queries before, although regulars might not find it useful. hope this doesnt discourage rich from asking his queries as i myself have found the forum members answers useful regarding some of his queries.

    have a nice day.
