Quoting now seems to throw me out of the site, so I will try without!
Bamby, it is the Allan Carr book, nice to hear that it has been successful for some, confirms that I haven't been duped out of hard earned cash!
Thanks

I tried several times by going "cold turkey" and failed. In the end I cut back to only a couple a day then stopped and it worked for me, I haven't smoked now for 5 years.
Best of luck ... just keep reminding yourself of all the money you have saved not to mention the good you're doing to your body.

H,
I too am currently enjoying being a non-smoker (7 weeks). Achieved through Allen Carr (and a book by Neil Casey).
I'm sure you will succeed. I would wish you luck but you shouldn't need it:dance:There's a real buzz about the neighbourhood :dance:0 -

Hi Hello,
I'm in the middle of reading the Alan Carr book at the moment and I'm hoping I'm going to smoke my 'final cigarette' within the next few days.
It would be great to have a Stop Smoking thread where we could support each other.
Any others want to join in?0 -
