Can do the LATANIA apartments in Crete in a resort called STALIS-plenty to do-has nightlife (& if you want more nightlife Malia is just 2 miles away)-good beaches-easy access to lots of sights (if you do book it e-mail me-can give you a whole host of places to see-I lived in Crete for 5 years!)-£309 s/c for a studio dead-no extras, 29/8, day flights, STANSTED.

OR-for £395 pp, we have the LA VITA HOTEL, 3*+, Rhodes town, half-board, air-con, pool, 50m from Mandraki Harbour & beach (v.nice!)-BUT-& it's a BIG BUT-with evening meal & use of ALL faciliites at the luxury 5* GRAND HOTEL next door! Lots of nightlife & things to see-trips to Turkey....etc-& a private taxi transfer! This is a night flight-2330 depart-from Gatwick.

hi, i'm looking for a self catering holiday in italy, preferably the lakes or tuscuany would be ideal. Though as italy is so beautiful would take anywhere. Obviously would need car hire for these places, unless i could get transportation to and from the airport. I can book anytime within a weeks notice or shorter if needs be. if you can't find anything now, i am prepared to wait, as the school hols are comming up, and the prices will be rising. so before or after would be ideal. I would'nt have a clue as to how much a hol would cost in italy, but obviously the cheaper the better.

2- 7-10 day

3-1st & last dates - can book anytime, obviously before and after school holidays would be cheaper.

4-Are night flights acceptable ? - yes

5-party size- 2 adults 2children aged 4 and 1

6-Board basis you require - Self catering

7-Type of resort, ie quiet, lively - not fussed

8-Any resorts you WOULD NOT go to - not fussed

9-Any other neccesary factors, - not fussed

10-Max. budget!!! - £600-£800, as cheap as you could possibly get, as might need car hire. ; ;D

Sorry-no chance at that price!

My best advice to you (& I've checked this with a collegue who does Italy) is to look NOW (as nearer time prices rise on economy airlines) at the Ryanair routes-book a flight & search for a 'small & friendly' type of Hotel-try linking up with the Tourist Board site for the Airport you fly to.

This is the only way you'll get near that price.

Can somebody tell me have they had any response back from TRAVELMAN as i have e-mailed him + tel, he asked for my contact number as he had misplaced it so i gave it to him again but after that still nothing ??? he has in the past been ok and sorted my son's holiday out and all went really well, but cannot get any response back at all now. I know its a busy time but at least a quick e-mail to let you know that at least he is getting the mail and PMs >:(

Flights-if you've got some booked no probs-if you're wanting to book I'd wait till mid August if i were you.

7. quite but places to eat out ,just back from kalamaki in zante and that kind of place was ideal for us.
8. dont like the very busy ,party all night resorts.
9. near the beach would be good.
10. looking for around 300 per person.
