  • Hi Sloppychops - thanks for replying. Can leave on the 12th yes. Haven't set a budget aside. Looking into the ones you mentioned - they sound very cheap. Did want Gran Canaria originally but like Cyprus to. Thank you very much for looking for me - much appreciated.

I'm looking for cheap accommodation for Jersey, 20th May for 4 nights.
It could be B & B, HB, Hotel or Guesthouse preferably under 200 total for 2 adults in a twin room. Anybody know of anywhere or sites to try or hotel discount codes to keep the cost down? The flights are already booked. Many thanks

Sloppy - I'm looking for two quotes:

    4 adults & 1 child (11)
    New York for 3/4 days
2 rooms needed in hotel or appartment. Must be central NY and must have indoor swimming pool.
Can go anytime from 8 to 19 June.
Cheapest I've seen so far is over 400pp - is that good?

    7 adults & 3 kids
Looking for villa/house to rent with outdoor pool in France or somewhere we can drive to in Europe without spending forever on the road.
Must offer childcare for under 2s for at least 4 hours a day. Don't need evening babysitting.
Accomodation must be child-friendly, i.e. not on a steep hill, or house with loads of stairs.
    1 week
Can go anytime from 1 July to end of August.
    Any suggestions?

My 18 year old daughter bought a flight to Sydney via an online travel agent. the flight cost £488-£10 more than the airline quoted. She now can't make the flight and she tried to cancel. The flight was purchased in January and doesn't leave until September. Several e-mails and phone calls later she now has some pof the money refunded after we went to ABTA and the OFT. The travel agency has kept £260 which they variously call a fee/penalty/charge. They claim it's the airline charging it-the airline say it has noithing to do with them. This agency has the most aggressive ,stonewalling staff-either hand-picked for their attitude or trained to behave in this manner.

They have been asked to justify the charge but they refuse to do so. This was not a reduced price fare by the look of it, what exactly does go on with this agent/airline refund business. The aggressive manner of this company combined with the variation in the stories for retaining the money make me think we are being lied to. Any advice gratefully received.

    Hi,

I'm looking for flights from London to Porto, Portugal (OPO). I've checked out RyanAir and Air Portugal ... does anyone know if any other airlines fly there from any London airport? I'd go with RyanAir but I hate their baggage and extra charges policy. Details are:

    -Any London airport
-Departing between 9 May to around 15 May
    -Returning 1 month after departure
-Night flights acceptable - any time is ok
-2 adults (if he behaves himself!)

    So far I've found:
    - Around £130 rtn (for both adults) with RyanAir including taxes but excluding baggage and credit card charges.
    - Around £170 rtn with Air Portugal including taxes but excluding any booking/handling charges there might be.

Is there anywhere else I should be looking?

Also ... I'll need car hire for 31 days - smallest car, collecting & returning at Porto airport. Best prices so far are:
    Carjet: £362
    Holiday Autos: £338

Can anyone help with this too?

    Thanks ever so much,
    RoCas

    Hello!

My mate has asked me to look for a holiday in Cuba. It's for him & his girlfriend in July.

    - Any London airport
    - Departing in July
    - Duration: 14 days
    - 2 adults
    - All inclusive
    - Preferably includes return airport transfers

I have had a look at various site and it's around 800 quid 3*/4* and yourholidays.com seems to be the cheapest.

Would you be kind enough to check if there are any other operators/sites they should look?
