    Sorry Chris i was trying to do a hundred and 1 things at once(mainly here at home for hubby and dad),think i need an extra pair of hands lol.
    Yeah its a good idea as you can guarantee people will on here be asking for family based holidays over that period at cheapish prices.
    Have you ever been to the Pink Palace in Turkey as i must admit its not one i come across much.
    Anyway how have you been as we dont see you around here much?I know busy busy busy lol

    For my birthday, I'd love to have a short break with OH.

    A 4 poster bed would be a dream come true! Room/cottage with lots of character, easy to get to for non-drivers (we will be taking the train), no more than an hour from Bolton preferably, with lots of lovely scenery, on-site restaurant would be fab or self-catering also acceptable.

    Price range - looking to spend no more than £400. Can book ASAP.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yup......good idea. Will get some ideas together for the 'intro' (cuth through my waffle!) so that all who help on here are not mucked about...(ie not acknowledgment, no intention of booking, etc....) will PM you when I've done this (probably tomorrow now)..also a thread for Whitsun FINDS (not requests) as a sticky might be good?

    Chris

    P.S-I, like sloppy have spoken/quoted MSE posters & had NO reply (even if you do book something else it's courtesy to let us know). Bearing in mind it takes an average of 25-35 mins to do a proper search this don't half p**s me off-which is why I don't post as much now. So a new thread with new rules on it would be great! How about another sticky if someone books something that's been quoted-a bit of a 'pat on the back' to whoever has found the deal?

    Hi
    Thanks for replying, i think hubbie would prefer landing at orlando international and not a charter as we have never tried it before. I will have a look at mytravel with him and see what he thinks. He is keen on BA or Virgin as thats all he has experienced and his view is 'at least we know what we are going to get with those airlines'
    thanks again.

    ======================================================
    Does it have to be Virgin?

    If not how about this one with https://www.mytravel.co.uk
