7-Type of resort - quiet or lively

A tall order I know but I'm fed up with the scottish rainy summer!

Hello all,

Firstly-APOLOGIES!

Whilst I love my job there's only little old me here (work from Home).

I was told by our head Office that my mails would be 'looked after' by 3 of my collegues-they've ALL been made aware of this site & how to log-in, etc....but sadly somewhere along the line there's been a 'breakdown in communication'-to say I'm p****d off is an understatement!

Have just got back from overseas (well-been backwards & forwards with the odd day or so at home!) & have been involved in a major project for Co-Op Travel-involving me sourcing/negotiating rates DIRECTLY with the Hotels (mainly greece but some good stuff for Turkey & Majorca) to allow 5 divisions of the Co-Op Group to use these & provide a complete package under our ATOL number-with private taxi transfers-the initial results have been FAB-& the prices are just in for July/August!

I've helped a lot of people on the board who've had good hols or (I hope!) good advice-so again sorry if anyone feels let down.

As it's now peak time I'm here-all stuff for this project now done. Might have the odd '2-nighter' in Corfu or Majorca but that'll be it for 2 months.

I'll shortly be putting up my 'Gazateer ' part 3-on the state of the marketplace for the School Hols.

The rates mentioned for Co-OP are FAB-but I can't publish them as I'd be breaking the 'no-advertising' rule.

however-as a 'payback' if you like for my lack of availability if anyone wants to e-mail me off-board I'll send you the 'nett' rates (includes private taxi)-all you need to do is go to anyTravel web-site ( or use mine https://www.traveltomorrow.co.uk )-pick the flight-only that suits you (remember if its within 20 days it'll be about £28 pp MORE than the lead price shown for tkt collection fees, etc)-ADD to the NETT rate & we'll get you a great deal! We'd normally mark-up the accomodation 15% but I'm quite happy to just make a little on the flight bit & do the accomodation/taxi transfers at NETT for MSE posters. A taster....3*+ half-board in Rhodes Town in August-with evening meal & FULL use of facilities at a 5* next door-1 week-£195 adults, 1st child just £49 INC TAXI! Flights form £119 Glasgow-3169 gatwick, OR, a 5* Luxury Half-board Hotel in Corfu, August, adults £319, 1st child up to £16 free-flights from £149! Just add flight to accom cost. As you see-very good for August.

Probably said too much & will be told off by the mods (!) but it's a bit of an 'olive-branch' due to the fac that we got it wrong with the forewarding of e-mails & my lack of availability!
