The missus has just been given a fortnights holiday, effective from tonight; so we are in the market for a quick getaway. I'd welcome your thoughts on the following criteria:

Thanks Sloppychops.
We've visisted Los Gigantes quite a few times when we've been to Tenerife; and particularly enjoy the harbour there. I suspect that we'll plump for this one, and will probably organise a hire car, so that we can head up the coast for day trips.

approx 27th september (but any time from 24th) for 14 nights (found flights for this date for 735 if you can beat it?)
2 adults
3 children 9,6,4
1 baby 8m (but she sleeps in my bed so no cot or cot space needed....can you talk to a hotel direct to see if they would give us a 5 person room?...just thinking more options then)

pref Rhodes....nice beach NOT falariki...(dont want hundreds of bars and pished brits!)
must all be in same room/apartment.
dont mind what board but it must be a good deal for the type of board if you know what i meen.
dont mind if its greek 'basic' lol or something a bit posher again as long as its a good deal.

so really quite open to ideas, id like to be quite closs to a town, or happy to walk a short distance for exploring...maybe 15m walk to a town center?

oh what id really like is a pool with a childs end that...well...is like the shore at a beach...so my little baby can sit at the edge, rather than a child pool that they have to step in if you see what i meen.

ive found an all inclusive in kolymbia for just over 1.5k...but it seems to be just hotels in kolymbia??? and it seems a bit far away from things.plus we do like to eat out in the evenings to have proper greek food...i have visions of all inc food but a bit yuck...

budget..as little as possible up to....around 2000
