This may not be the right forum but can anyone recommend the best company to use for a family holiday in particular where the kids (5 & 3) are going to get entertained throughout their stay (you know for a few hours thru the day so they dont get totally bored sitting on a beach).

I'm going in the school holidays (30 july onwards) for upto 14 days and dont mind paying a bit extra for the service and a bit of luxury.

I have thought about Orlando/Disney as an alternative to the above.

    Any suggestions?
    Waddle you do eh?
  • Was i unrealitic in my price or could you not find anything many thanks sloppychops.

Try https://www.caribbeandeals.co.uk they can do twin centres and I find them very competative and friendly 1200pp is reasonable for a 1 centre but not too sure your going toget a twincentre for that unless you book it all DIY
https://www.xl.com are starting to do Antigua flights from Novemeber starting at £285pp. We stayed at the Rex Blue Heron its only a 3* and its not too far from Cocobay. Or Jolly Harbour might be better suited its a little more lively and the centre for the main watersports.

    https://www.virginholidays.co.uk
    Jolly Beach Resort
6th June 14 nights £2513 for both AI
Possibly can get an extra 5% off this by calling them too book if you speak to them and say you have found it for £2375 they MIGHT match it ...worth a try

Its a starting Price...Do some reasearch on th place and If it suits you come back and I will hunt round it see if its cheaper with anyone else.
Antigua is lovely we had 2 weeks here https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g147242-d150649-Reviews-Blue_Heron_by_Rex_Resorts-Antigua_Antigua_and_Barbuda.html we paid around £900pp end of May with Virgin
Have a look at the reviews for Jolly Beach on the same site

    Hiya...

Been looking at Takkas Hotel Apts, Ayia Napa, Cyprus (Olympic tour op - stayed there twice before, loved it) - but prices have hardly moved over past few months, so...

    1- Any midlands
    2- 14 nights
    3- 18/19/20 August 06
4- Night flights suit us fine!
    5- 2 Adults
6- S/C (prefer 1bedroom apartment over studio) - or Hotel
7- Lively, pref. not too many kids...
8- N/A - looking to go to Cyprus specifically
9- Would like holiday in Ayia Napa, Cyprus, accomodation needs to be close to Square/Harbour rather than Nissi Beach
    10- N/A
    11- 1000 realistic budget

ACCOMODATION WISHLIST: Takkas Hotel Apts or Napa Plaza Hotel (but happy with any offers...)
    Cheers!

I know it's rather lame to reply to my own post... as above, but after hunting around myself I'm not sure if my budget is big enough - any thoughts - is it worth holding off for a late booking - or does it make little difference in Aug ?

That weekend is still very expensive its probably because its the last departure for a full 14 night holiday before the kids go back...Can you go 23rd? any chance of changing your holidays?
