£216 will probably end up at about £270ish.

I want to do a trans canadian train journey with hubby and 2 kids (age 10 & 8 then) at the neginning of 2007. I have 2 - 3 months to do it in, so no rush, although I also want to get to CA in that time to see family.
Any ideas on how to do this without breaking the bank?
    Thanks

Ive been all around the travel agents and half gave me a quote and the others said they wont be able to give me a qoute until the 1st week of june.

    What im looking for is:

    > A trip for 2 adults to disneyland resort paris
    > To stay in the sequoia lodge
    > Leaving on Monday 18th December for 3 days 2nights (unless theres a deal on in which we can get an extra day and night free (4 days 3 nights).
    > Going Via EUROSTAR from ashford at 10ish and coming back from paris on the 7pm'ish train.

Ive been quoted £606 for the both of us, and us having to pay £130 deposit upfront. (Insurrance wasn't included)

    Hi Travel man.
I am thinking of booking an early bird package deal to Puerto de Carmen in Lanzarote. Can you price beat Panorama book with Going Places, page 69.for Caleton Blanco Apartments-2 bedroom, flight meals and transfers included.
    1. Gatwick
    2. 14 NIGHTS
    3. 17.5.2007 / 20.5.2007
    4. any flights acceptible
    5. 4 adults
    6. self-catering
    7. lively resort
    8.booking for Puerto de Carmen
    9. If I book over the Bank Holiday weekend! on 29/5/06 will I get a good offer?
    10. £1,600
    Thank You for your help.
[include the following information to allow us to find you the best 'moneysaving' deal!

PLEASE ASK FOR PRICES FROM THE REGULAR 'BODS' ON HERE ONLY IF YOU ARE IN A POSITION TO BOOK STRAIGHT AWAY OR WITHIN A DAY-THOSE OF US THAT SEARCH FOR DEALS KNOW THAT IF YOU ASK US FOR A PRICE IT WILL HAVE CHANGED 3/4 DAYS LATER-so help us to help you avoid dissapointment & ask for help WHEN YOU KNOW YOU CAN BOOK quickly-otherwise any quotes you want to take my come as a dissapointment if you go to book them 3/4 days later & they're more expensive!

PLEASE DO NOT POST FOR A QUOTE ULNESS YOU ARE IN A POSITION TO BOOK BY, THE LATEST, THE FOLLOWING DAY AS ANY QUOTES/SEARCHES GIVEN WILL BE OUT OF DATE WITHIN 48 HOURS.
1-All airports you can fly from
    2-Duration
3-1st & last dates to leave the UK
4-Are night flights acceptable ? (Big point as night flights usually cheaper!)
    5-Party size & kids ages
    6-Board basis you require (ie self-catering, all-inclusive, h/b, bb...etc)
7-Type of resort, ie quiet, lively
8-Any resorts/countries you WOULD NOT go to
9-Any other neccesary factors, ie must have kids
    10-Prices required by what day/time?
club, pool, be within 'x' metres from sea...etc
11-Max. budget FOR THE WHOLE PARTY!!! Now I know there is a preconceived idea that if you say maximum £1000 we'll quote £999-99-NOT the case! It just saves us all time, for example if you were looking at peak Season or Whitsun for £125 pp it's a non-starter. Just 'as cheap as posssible' is not a help I'm afraid.

My area of expertise is the main Med resorts, Canaries, Turkey, Egypt, Florida deals including accom (we get good villa rates), Dominican republic, Cuba + mexico. Other posters on here have much better knowledge on other destinations-so if I don't answer in person it just means its either not my area or one of the other 'bods' on here is better qualified.

Do remember as fellow moneysavers no extras to pay-such as card charges, booking fees, Airport security, transfers (in 90% of cases we include a PRIVATE TAXI-nice start to the holiday!). If flight meals are not available we'll let you know!
