saveapenny wrote:melt71 cant find anything in your budget for Canaries AI or Cyprus AI for your dates only on the 18th October. 18th I can find for between 850-950 but nothing after
I think you might have to rethink your budget or board base
Would it possibly be better to wait until nearer the time? I have booked an AI in August about 3 years ago (Majorca) as a last minute which was very cheap but I'm not sure if it's the same in October, I'm assuming there will be less availablity in the first place?
Thanks for trying anyway. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
If it as to be those dates. How about altering your board say go HB or S/C.
I have found that the August holiday is easier to get a week away cheaply then the October half term week. It seems like its everyones last attempt at sunshine before winter sets in so it tends to keep the prices up for the still sunny areas such as the Canaries, Cyprus, Eygpt.
Would you consider Turkey or Tunisia? If you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
no I don't fancy Turkey or Eygpt, have been to Tunisia many years ago and would consider a reasonable hotel in a tourist area (their 5 star seemed to be 3! and as I went to a non tourist area it was a complete dump). Would it be cheaper in Tunisia than say the canaries? I haven't looked at prices for there. We’ve had to remove your signature. for a variety of reasons I won't bore you with, I'm trying to keep it below £1800 if poss. I have no problem with a room/suite that will accommodate all of us and just want somewhere where the girls will enjoy themselves0

peatling.... Could you go from Manchester on the 9th Agust
£1,037.00 for the flight for all of you
then the 4* Sol Sharm on HB £627 (its £10 cheaper on HB than it is BB)
Transfers ...jump in a cab
*off med hotels* Distance to Sharm El Sheikh airport (SSH) is 10 minutes drive.
Thats the best I can find around your budget
https://www.xl.com for the flight (divers code)
https://www.medhotels.com for the hotel
there is also a 3* BB for 456 http://www.medhotels.com/book/hotel_description.asp?HID=20031217145037567945&Lang=EN&Popup=yes&b=1
which would be cheaper but the extra 200 and you have evening meals for all of you
totals
£1664 4*HB Sol Sharm
£1493 3* BB Tropicana RosettaIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0
