Pigsback - Free Gifts for Clicks - Newbies Please Read the First Post!!

I recommended a friend to Pigsback last night and guided her through all the clicks and sign ups for points. We have just checked her account and she has 600 points already! :j Seems to me it might be worth winding down our old accounts and openeing a new one (if you have another E mail address to use i.e hotmail) I checked the T&C it is one account per person, not per household.:D So if we dont use the old one any more we are keeping the terms.

I am getting a problem with pages freezing lately when on PB.. usually when clicking the comp links.. Might be a problem with IE tho.. just strange as it only happens on PB..

I think a fair few might do the crossword themselves, perhaps thats the reason for less thanks?

I'm not sure that's quite within the spirit of the rules! Each person is allowed to have one account... therefore if you already have one I don't think you'd be within the rules to open another! Most (if not all) of the points your friend got will be from sign ups/click throughs/comps that you have already completed and for which you have earned points. Is it really fair to expect these points a second time?!

It was true of me, I used to regularly do the crossword myself (and the quizzes) so I only browsed through this thread for the chat and new finds - thanking what I use or think is helpful.

Since losing my old computer, having to use another without java and now having one which loads the crossword with the small but very annoying tic of making me click on the crossword itself for each word to be filled in (instead of the clues) I find more opportunities to be lazy and come here for the link - so I thank Jules whenever I benefit. As I don't use or customarily thank the poster of the daily links, I'm going against the trend by the sound of it :rolleyes:

Sorry for the long-windedness - I like a stats query!

ps In the past I very much appreciated Droopsnout's crossword grid posting as it often saved me slaving over the last one or two answers and mourned it when we switched to just a link as I now waste lots of minutes bunging lazy letter guesses in... or just come here instead.

Last week was the last poker through pigsback (for the moment at least). You can still register for the tournament on betfair but you won't get any piggypoints for it as you can't register on pigsback. You used to get £1 betfair credit for coming in the top 5, not sure whether that would still apply!

IVe just had to email pigsback to get my 100 points from wowwoman, it said points would be credited within 24hrs and that didnt happen and i received my earings this morning....anyone else notice that they are taking longer to appply points? This is the second time ive had to email them...
