Pretty easy to accumulate points, too. If all my pending points clear OK, I'll have 3000 points (equivalent to £30) without having to spend anything. :j0 -

The chap said she had won a free holiday to Tenerife/Costa Del Sol but she would need to pay a £29.50 booking fee per person. At that point she declined her 'prize' and put the phone down. She is convinced its a scam.
Must admit when she told me it certainly sounded like a scam. Has anyone else received one of these calls?0 -

Its not so much a scam... they will offer you something... but its usually an expensive timeshare which they will pressure you into signing up to. There will likely be hidden charges and restrictions on when you can go.
If it was a real prize - not designed to get money out of you - they wouldn't make you pay anything.Don't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs. Yep I won one last week they want you togo to one of their centres to pick your holdiay, it takes half a day because of the presentation etc, and they told me it would cost £29.50 per person, but lets be honnest if it was a prize it would be free, it's a bit like asking you to pay the postage for your prize. It might not be a scam but it is not far off.0 -
It's a scam. Like everyone says - if they are real prizes then they don't make you pay anything....Everyone has a photographic memory, it's just some of them don't have film.0

I have noticed something which is confusing??
It seems that the person who does the crossword link for us all (usually Jules) doesnt get as many thanks daily as the person who does the days Questions??
I know i use all the links and thank the people respectively and just wondered if this means that less people actually do the daily crossword? This would seem silly as it is a possible 2000pp and being a winner of it i know how pleased i was...
Anyway just curious.....

I don't usually do the crossword since it started freezing my browser! I have tried many solutions but I can't seem to fix it... and some days it doesn't do it at all :rotfl: I do usually try to thank jules for posting it anyway but perhaps others don't do it for this or other reasons?
I think there are also newbies to the thread who don't realise that all you have to do to enter the crossword is click the link. It comes up with a blank crossword but the entry has already been sent any you needn't do anything more! :TDon't stress, relax, let life roll off your backs.
