jules, did you ever get a reply from PB regarding the questions being updated later than usual lately?

The reply from pb on 31 August was
"All quizzes are updated every night between 12 midnight and 1am. I can assure you that last night the quizzes were updated before 0030"

I replied saying they weren't updated before 2am and I haven't had any further replies. If anyone else wants to complain to pb, please do
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

I suppose the bottom line is that they can update them whenever they want to, not just to suit us!

  • Hi, since we have just mentioned the time that the quizzes etc are changed, i was wondering whether it makes a difference to your chances of winning when you complete them.

Since they always mention the previous days winner, i presume that they would have to be drawn before the next ones are posted, so does this mean that they are drawn at 11.55pm or is it more likely that they are drawn earlier in the evening.

Often i answer the questions at about 10pm when i get in from work, but do people think i am wasting my time doing it that late? I was wondering if any winners could tell us when they have done the quizzes and see if any pattern emerges

really sorry to be a pain :o
but whats the approx amount of time for PB to pay out on the irish lottery bets?
    thanks :)

May take up to a week or so like other jackpot winnings, but at least you know you've won and it will be a nice surprise when they arrive

    Congratulations:T
I am trying, honest;) very trying according to my dear OH:rotfl:

That is a very good point!

It would be useful to know what time of the day the winners are picked.

I won a quiz once and I always answer them around 8-9 am

ok i think im being dense now, but why do we have to pay extra on points?
eg paying 1200 points for a 10 pounds voucher or something like that?

to be honest i think it's to to keep them from getting completely rinsed! if you want true cash for points you can withdraw through betfair although i've never done it, i would rather just feed my cd habit!

just on the off-chance that anyone was thinking of shoping online with dp, i wanted to let you know that cosmo magazine is doing a 20% off all shoes promotion, with 20% deducted at the till provided you start your shopping from www.dorothyperkins.com/shoes - this is a better offer than 10% back in points!

also i wanted to use this smiley face :wall: - i saw it in droopsnout's post and it made me laugh!
