A word of advice, when you start trying to dictate to other people what they should do and think, bear in mind they may not feel you have the right. They may also not react kindly to being pressured behind the scenes, preferring to bring the discussion out into the daylight. Just a thought.

My opinion of Jeremy is that had he kept out of this whole pretence with Suzy ' look at what my naughty T has done to me' Butler then there would not be any need to look at his credentials.

We would be non the wiser I imagine, and i would have preferred it this way if the truth be known.

However, he is behind this game with Suzy and I think he should be assessed to see if he is a credible character.

As for Suzy Butler - just give her a stage and she will prattle on for herself, the tenant in fact for everyone because she hasn't psychologically moved on from being the centre of her own world - so she's probably about 5 years old maybe 6 at best in reality. :rotfl:

PMing to exchange personal viewpoints does not constitute being "pressured behind the scenes" unless you are 15 and suffering from self esteem issues.

You may also like to check back - my post 701 appears "in daylight" before you received a PM on the subject.

Gossip is idle chat about details from other people's lives , the gossip may contain fact (or people's versions of fact) but it is, nevertheless, gossip and may be vindictive.

You seem,also, to be extrapolating my original comment about "gossip". I am referring specifically to my view of the comments of one specific poster in this thread, in her/his most recent posts about someone other than Ms Butler.

I have already clearly stated my own views of Ms Butler's actions, in this thread,in the previous one, and elsewhere. Those comments also made due reference to the marketing spin placed on Ms Butler's tale.

My view is that she herself is "fair game", having brought her own personal information into play in an effort to present herself in a certain light,to try to justify her actions towards her T and to the detriment of a fair "hearing" for her T.

If other posters feel they wish to engage in what seems to me to be a very personally targeted character assassination of a bloke who likes to hit a FB delete button and dabble in some behind the scenes marketing, then that is up to them.

Equally those of us who feel it's OTT are at liberty to comment to that effect: it's no good having a pop at the idiots on SB's support page when some of what gets posted here looks to be on a pretty similar level.

If it wasn't for this forum it would be Jeremy, Suzy and the two 'I never claimed to know what the law is but think it needs to be changed' cheerleaders.

I'd go in with another profile and instead of pretending to be nice and gently probe with some tricky questions just open right out with some home truths but they are so deluded they wouldn't take notice of it. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when S+J find out that decades of evolutionary law is not going to be changed for one numpty in ~Brighton who doesn't have a damn clue what they are doing...

Actually, I probably wouldn't I'd be drowned in the spit as they try to get their words out in shock that they are not the most important pair of people in the world.

But why is he doing it ?

The ridiculous campaign doesn't really make sense & is not managed by SB.
He's fair game, because he's managing it, possibly created it.

SB's meandering story doesn't explain the media campaign & aftermath.

Why get involved in this mess when anyone with any sense would run a mile ?

The context is everything, because it would not happen in the normal world.

What's it all about !
