  • Did you check this? Can you see the twigs in a vase in the photos?

Can you smell the freshly baked bread and the freshly brewed coffee? :D

    Interesting little thread.

    Within 1/4 mile of me.

    10 for sale.
    4 SSTC.

Right next to me there is a SSTC board which isn't on the net anymore (they must have moved in)
My neighbours who have just hit the market but still aren't on RM
And the repo that just completed across the road.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
  • Rightmove is worthless for most of Scotland:

Within a quarter mile Zero properties for sale.

Within a half mile Zero properties for sale.

Within a mile Two properties for sale.

Within 3 miles Five properties for sale. (and 5 ads for newbuild developments)

Round my way 46 for sale, 11 of those STC

And now 57 for sale, 10 of those STC.

That means a massive increase of 11% in two months which trends to 132% YOY increase in distressed sellers.

    Hmmm...

Why would the increase be distressed sellers, have you had a repo-fest, John Terry or the plague near you :)

This ignores any that sell really quickly and don't stay on rightmove. Also ignores that sell so quickly that they don't reach rightmove.

    Us bain't very built-up, round yer! :)

It takes three miles before I find anything. But there's a lot within three miles....

I forgot the numbers...but I did get distracted by seeing ''worth'' comparisons for our house. What is interesting is the comparables for this, whose price makes me feel smug, still haven't sold...which makes me feel less smug. Three of them in particular I have seen on the market for as long as I've been looking!

Whats also interesting is that included in the 3 mile of postcode radius of here are similar houses in the same or similar villages with price differences of up to £200k between them:eek:. Decoration is obviously a factor in them but ...not £200ks worth, surely?

eta: my parents house which has had a price reduction is WAY overpriced still!
