Surely this is a good thing, that they're rolling it out over a few days, between 21st-26th August for different sellers? Hopefully means there will be less competition as everyone isn't listing on one particular day. Seems like everyone will be given two days to list, just on different dates.

Two eBay private accounts, one no longer used. Both usernames begin with the same letter, yet e-mails received on different days.

I had an e-mail for 22-23rd & wondered why it was not announced on the weekly MSE mailing - didn't realise it was by invitation only.

I have not sold on E-bay for several months (pressure of work etc) so maybe that's why I was included.

Strange - I've just found my email giving me today and tomorrow for free listing - but nothing in my eBay Message box.

I haven't been invited on either my selling or my buying/posting ID. I don't have much to sell at the moment, but I just listed a Drop the Dead Donkey DVD for a £3.00 start, so I wonder if I will get it at all later on in the week as I'm sure I could find something I want to sell.

I got an email too, for 23rd & 24th, says its open to all except business users.

Since it is so staggered I've had a really good sort out, my sons are still rooting through their cupboards as I speak.

I have decided though to hold back on listing too much on my business account though until it is over, which is a shame as I have a lot to be listed.
